These terms cover your use of Multiplicity and CAИON, at multiplicity.fm and in the Multiplicity apps, which load the same service inside a native frame. By creating an account or generating a CAИON you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.
Multiplicity turns the listening history you connect into a ranked album CAИON, a monthly Rotation, records, rankings and a taste identity. It is a reflective archive built from your own history. It does not stream or play music, and it does not tell you what to listen to next.
You choose which sources to connect and which files to upload. You confirm that you have the right to connect that history and that it is your own. Multiplicity reads it to build your surfaces, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can stop connecting a source, or delete your account, at any time.
The surfaces Multiplicity generates are built from your history and are yours to keep and revisit. A CAИON is private by default. If you choose to make a share link or a public profile, the people you share it with can view the parts you have chosen to make public. Private source detail is not included in shared or saved editions.
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms.
Multiplicity interprets your listening history to produce a ranking and identity reading. It is a considered, evidence-led view, not a factual score or an official record, and reasonable people may read the same history differently. We may refine how surfaces are generated as the product develops.
We work to keep Multiplicity available and dependable, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, pause or remove features, and we may carry out maintenance. We will try to avoid disruption where we reasonably can.
The Multiplicity and CAИON names, brand, design and software are ours. Album, artist and track names, and any artwork, belong to their respective owners, and Multiplicity is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Music, Spotify or Last.fm. You keep your own listening history; we do not claim ownership of it.
Multiplicity relies on the sources and providers described in the Privacy Policy, including Last.fm, Apple, Spotify, Stripe and others. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for how they operate.
You can stop using Multiplicity at any time and delete your account from within the product, under You and Profile at /account/delete. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or misuses the service. If your account ends, the parts of these terms that should reasonably continue, such as ownership and liability, still apply.
Multiplicity is provided as a personal archive on an "as is" basis. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or unexpected losses, or for any loss of data caused by a source you connect or a provider we rely on. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of England and Wales. This does not remove any protection you have under the law of the country where you live.
We may update these terms as the product changes. When we do, we will update the date below, and continuing to use Multiplicity means you accept the updated terms.
